Samodiva is a cross-disciplinary music and art project. It’s an alias project by the Slavo-Germanic artist Apostolka Polia Christov. She draws on nature, the arts, technology and the sciences to build sensory environments that create the conditions for human presence and connection, spaces where complexity is felt rather than argued.
Her debut release Moments of Awareness I The Noosphere, created in collaboration with musician Alexander Shirokov arrived April 2026. Ambient, textured and organic, it maps the threshold between inner stillness and collective consciousness, a fitting first statement from an artist who has spent years building the conditions for that kind of experience. With two upcoming single releases in October and December, Samodiva is pushing the boundaries of artistic innovation and creativity.
More than a decade, she performed as Pool, a DJ project rooted in European clubs and festivals. Her exquisite taste and technical precision have taken her to stages in Norway, Lyon, Berlin, and Prague, to name a few. The artist foundation runs deeper into years of formal training in Bulgarian folklore music encompassing instrument, voice and choreography. Alongside that she worked professionally as a stage lighting designer and software developer, learning how to build systems and live experiences. Sculpture, photography, videography, mixed media and visual art have
always run in parallel.
